Summer Events and Update on Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint

Summer is in full swing!

I just returned from home from a

little vaca with the family to my parent's new place.

It was paradise!  I think we had happy hour

every evening at sunset....hmm.

Before I share pics of that, i wanted to let you know

about some really fun goings-on this month.

Tomorrow, Thursday, July 12th

there will be the first ever Art Walk

throughout the Mill Creek

Town Center!

So, head into

to see featured artist, Tippy Stockton!

Nest will also have a wine tasting

going on at the same time, featuring a local winery.

  How fun does that sound?

Shopping and wine!

Count me in!

Update on Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint:

Nest Home & Gifts is one of just a few retail stores
that will be carrying this awesome paint in the
entire state of Washington!  Susan (owner of Nest), was nice
enough to send me home with a tester kit.
And...I love it!  I'm a big fan of ASCP and have
worked with it for many of my furniture pieces.
But, MMS Milk Paint just might be my new fav!
Yes,
I like it that much!
I'm so anxious for it to arrive so I can buy it in every color!
It really is easy to work with and the convenience
of mixing up only what you need is fab!
Stay tuned for more info,
or become a fan of Nest Home & Gifts
on Facebook!

Also, this Saturday 14th

from 5-8 down in Historic Downtown Snohomish,

there will be wine tasting throughout the town.  Stop

into Faded Elegance to purchase tickets ($5).

And, while you are there go upstairs

and shop my space!  Lots of new reclaimed wood

frames, hand painted furniture,

antiques and other treasures!

I also marked down a ton, so

shop and save big!!!

Here's a peek at my summer so far...
The week started cool and overcast, but it was cozy on the deck...
and the view was amazing!

Keiton helped my dad put in a window in the garage,

clear some branches and trees,

and managed to go gooey duck hunting too!

It wouldn't be vacation without all the puppies, now would it?

The sun finally made an appearance on my sister's birthday,

the 4th of July.

We got her a signed Sid Dickens Tile, White Horse.

Now she can say, 'I got a horse for my birthday!'.

My little niece is such a cutie.

It was such a blessing to all be together to

celebrate my sister's birthday.

Family means the world to me.

I hope you are making the most of your summer!

Cheers,

Cheree
