Thanksgiving Travels and Small Business Saturday

Just getting back into a routine after a wonderful Thanksgiving break.

We travelled to my sister and brother-in-law's house

in Pullman, Washington.
Five hours in the car listening to tunes,
enjoying a beautiful Fall day.

Right outside Vantage, along the Columbia River.

My mom Vicki, my daughter Chanelle (16)
and my niece Raya (7) working on dessert.

My parents with the grandkiddos, Chanelle, Raya and Keiton.

And, the next day while the boys enjoyed full bellies, the girls shopped
some good sales at local small businesses.
My Sister Chrissa (far left) and her family were wonderful hosts :)

We had so much fun visiting family and the trip was

a great break from busy life.

Back at Faded Elegance,

we had a fabulous sale over the weekend!

Hope you were able to come in and take a peek, especially since

it was a rockin sale AND because it was

Small Business Saturday!

This is a new piece I brought in.
I used Miss Mustard Seed's "Typewriter" Milk Paint.
I love that it can be a dresser, small buffet or a bar, like I've done here.

I have two of these Santas left and just a few vintage ornaments, and
as some handmade ornaments as well.

Lots of vintage bar ware!

Close up.

I had leftover fabric after recovering the chairs for my dining table, so I had pillows made!

They turned out darling!  I have yet to embark on the craft of sewing,

so the credit for these beauties goes to my mom's sweet friend and neighbor,

Sylvia.

She's a talented lady :)

If you haven't been in lately, you'll want to make a day of it!
is brimming with inspiration!

Happy Shopping!
Cheree
